Yes, again driving image; yes again winter image. I thing I'm starting to bore everyone who has a look ... ;-)

Well, what happened: last winter was really a problem for the area round vienna because of heavy storms and snowfall at the same time. Huge problems with snowdrifts brought down the traffic in Wienerwald vor several days.

I was on the way to get a welding machine I bought on ebay from that area and wanted to get from Korneuburg to Rückersdorf, but I missed an exit on the Bundesstraße B3, got to Oberrohrbach and got deeper and deeper into the woods, I have lost my way....

After a while a while a sign said, that this road over the Wollmannsberg was closed during winter (see workshop why!!!). I knew that there was a connection, new traces of sand on the street from a service truck ment, that i could drive. I had snow chains with me, the old Mercedes Diesel runs (of course!), everything is OK.

After passing the Wollmannsberg i saw that there was no more snow on the street anymore, no more snowdrifts, i got it :-).

Driving home for Christmas.
Schade, daß die Straße weiter vorne nicht mehr schneebedeckt ist. Das würde den Effekt vom Winterwonderland perfekt machen .-)
Ich hoffe, mein kleiner Workshop gefällt Dir etwas...

Hi Martin,
I've been waiting for this one, man! A great shot, capturing that winding road ahead, leading... where? And this time the star is there, pin sharp - I like the way you include the car here, gives the viewer a reference and adds depth... I will concider doing that too in my future D&S shots!
Regards,
Pablo -

Martin,

Great shot of a winter scene, I do like the front of the car in this view.

Hi Martin,

You chose the perfect moment here with the curve of the road lying ahead and the star on the bonnet with which to aim. Excellent image.
Best wishes,
Paul
PS the driving conditions look a bit dangerous to have one hand holding a camera and the other on the steering wheel! :-)

Very nicely done, Martin, but I am with Paul thinking that it is always dangerous to see people taking pictures while driving...makes me nervous so hopefully nothing bad will happen to you!!! The composition is original and well thought through as I like the inclusion of the front of the car, the well-know symbol of Mercedes as well as the winding road with no other cars in front of you. It really does give the impression that you are lost. Well done!

HI! I very much like movement here...
