Hi Huub,

This is a good picture with good details. Good angle chosen. But i think it would have been better from the right with the hair. If there are hair but as you were the photographer nice subject chosen with your good eye.

Mooie karaktervolle "kop", Huub !
Prachtig dat dit soort mensen er nog zijn, en niet iedereen in een pak met das rondloopt.
Erg goed vastgelegd in zwart/wit. Goede scherpte en compositie.
Erg mooi ook zoals het licht in z'n haar speelt.

For all that you have now signed off, Like Magda and Paul and too many others, I enjoy visiting your gallery, studying your images and seeing what makes them memorable.
This one is very "real." He is human and has seen many hard things in his life and it shows in the weathering on his face. But there is a sparkle in his eyes still. Did he know that he reminded you of some-one whose work is far more intellectually challenging? I cannot help but wonder.
Curiously, because so many critiques have hammered at me the rule of thirds, I find myself searching for it here and cannot find it. Yet the image works its wonders without rules
