| The winged subject of my picture (an Alpine Chough) doesn't care about statal border. Standing on the rock that signal the Italia - Österreich borderline, his body is located half in Italy and half in Austria. He doesn't even care about fatigue: reaching the top of Mount Coglians (2780 metres above sea level, the highest peak of Carnic Alps) was a simple fly for him... oppositely to me, wingless unlucky creature: I had to climb these rocks to reach this point of view. But, if we don't consider birds or aircraft... I was the highest object in all Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Italy) and Kärnten (Austria) |
