Hi TL Friends,

I thought it was time for some creative inspiration!(^_^)

When I took this photo, I knew then how I wanted the final version to be. After some PP work “The Gods” are ready! (^_^)

PP work: Applied IR filter and tweaked with levels & colour balance.

Have a great week!

Constantinos

Hi Constantinos,
The composition immediately attracted me to the photo. The way you used the front statue to lead the eye to the others is wonderful. I like the PP work, as it illuminates the whites perfectly.

Niek

Good PP work on this beautiful image.
Excellent composition, sharpness, and details.

What is that Roman doing amidst the pantheon of gods, Κώστα? Mmm... I'm not too fond of this one. The light was very difficult here (quite harsh), resulting in uneven exposure. IMO this would have needed an HDR set-up with a couple of bracketed exposures...
Also, I find the compo quite "busy", my eyes keep wandering over the shot.
Just my opinion, my friend...

Hello Constantinos,
A bit strange where the normal criteria for good photoigraphy is pushed a bit..!
The composition is very good, as the trio of interest form a dynamic triangle...
Contrasty borderlinge overexposure works with me!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Not all that sure Con. I can see where Frank is coming from and I can also see what you wanted to achieve. So many different textures in the shot and hidden corners and crevices, light was always going to be an issue. A worthy result regardless. TFS,
Dave

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Foggy Days III’

Hi Constantinos,

Great look of these sculptures of God, I like this picture type a lot, of these places with these sculptures, this in first glides here is wonderful, his work in his face with this beard is perfect. And other piece that I like here is this fountain in the middle with their decorations, Wonderful!
Congratulations for the beautiful look!

Hey good to see you back Costas...

Like Dingo I find this a bit distracting, and my eye also doesnt know where to rest. I think its the statue on the right being so bold and right there unbalances it.. hope you dont mind my honest opinion my friend..

Hope you are doing well, and dont work too hard, must catch up soon.

This weekend us 3 girls are off on a girls weekend away to Rotorua... hehehehehe... I do hope Janice behaves! :-)

Fondest regards
Awatea.
