| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A cinnamon roll (also cinnamon bun) is a type of pastry found commonly in North America and Northern Europe. It consists of a rolled sheet of yeast dough onto which a cinnamon and sugar mixture is sprinkled over a thin coat of melted butter. The dough is then rolled, cut into individual portions, and baked. Cinnamon rolls are frequently topped with icing or glaze of some sort, or (most common in northern Europe) nib sugar. The size of a cinnamon roll varies from place to place.

In Austria we call these sweets "Nußschnecke", translated "nut snail". I love them. Last week was my first try to make them myself. |
