Hi Kristof,

since you are interested in our opinion on the composition, I'll start with that...

Interesting and nice compo...2/3 of the image are mountains and 1/3 is sky...that works really well.

But what I like the most about this image is the play of enlightened and shaded parts. That brings a bit of dynamic in this snowy landscape.

Szia Kristof,
En egy kicsit kritikusabb leszek mint az elottem szolok, ha nem haragszol :)
A kep tu eles, jol exponalt, nincs itt semmi baj.
Kompozicioilag viszintesen minden rendben, (tetszik a panoramic crop) amugy nekem egy kicsit centered de nem veszes...
viszont nekem ez a fajta keret nem passzol ide! de ez az en izlesemet turozi, semmi esetrem sem hiba! :)

Hi Kristof, I can visualize myself sitting by a window, cup of hot chocolate in hand, looking at this scene after hitting the slopes! This is very beautiful with the shadows and brightly lit mountains.

I do find the blue frame distracting though. I think I would have preferred a black frame, if any at all! It certainly conveys cold! Thanks for sharing, Lisa

Yes a wonderfull place it is. We call it Solden (Hoog Solden)
Reminds me of the coldest winter holiday we had stayig in the village of Solden. Going with the open lifts to the ski area at minus 20 degree.! Brrrrrrrr.

A perfect mountainscape Kristof.

The perfect white, the contrast between the suny and shaded areas and of course a deep blue sky - what more could you want - you are on top of the world here.

Only thing I personally am not sure about is the light blue frame.
I love framing - but this one is so pure and impressive already that it does not need any frame at all in my opinion.

Hello Kristof,

Your composition follows the rule of thirds and is, therefore, fine.
I love how the light from the left is highlighting the slopes which face it but is casting the opposite sides into deep shadow.
These shadows are defining the contours like a sculptor!

Absolutely great mountain shot Kristof, perfect light balance and well presented. Only that frame around is may be not that important but that is my conclusion.
