The Zugspitze is a dramatic and highest mountain in Germany situated high above the town of Garmisch Partenkirchen in Southern Bavaria, Germany, on the border with Austria. On the Austrian side is the town of Ehrwald is a typical Tyrolean village in the Wetterstein mountain range.

Here too in Northern Areas people go and capture the sunset over K2 and other peaks, this is an amazing shot.

A great moment, Alex,
I love the light and also the big cloud on the top of our highest mountain.
I have seen it several times in my life but never made a shot of it - such ashame!

This is really a great view, I even like the leaves in the foreground although there's not a tree in sight! hahahah

Hi Alex,
this view was well captured. Lovely atmospheric ambiance and detail.
I would have moved the shrouded peak away from the centre though.
