Very chilly scene, I bet the 'Ratrac' in this photo is worth a fortune! The mountains certainly put it in perspective, the bold red stands out from the whites nicely. Well seen, your note helped to understand what this was.

Interesting piece of machinery and great POV in your photo. The red of the ractrac really stands out against the mountain and it looks poised to conquer all. Very sharp with excellent DOF.

Hello Kristof,
This is really an interesting piece of equipment,something like a snow ambulance for ski resorts. Great details & as you say I hope it is not used often but it is definately a + having one available ,just in case of an emergency.I like your tight crop makes for a strong composition.
