Hi Francis,
Striking DOF well seen and captured. The bright yellows and reds of the rose with the grey statue in the background is perfect. Regarding the composition, I would have placed the rose more to the upper right side of the image, it's a bit too much to the bottom now in my opinion. Nonetheless a fine posting!

This is unusual and poignant composition. The rose looks particularly beautiful against the stark background of the monument. The angel is perfectly blurred in a sad and dream-like way. The vignette adds to the atmosphere. Very interesting piece.

I admit that you composed this very well , it makes for an unusual ,interesting and unique image due in most part to the rather long focal used here that resulted in a terrific DOF to isolate the rose by blurring the face of the statue in the BG , well just enough so we know where it stands , this really makes the shot great , my kind of photography,
