Hello Francis :)
A nice shot, the purple tones are really lovely. It looks a bit blurred for me, maybe it's just an impression.
Nice light and frame of good taste. TFS
Have a nice week-end.
Marylou :)

Hello Francis,

As you say, the colours are wonderful and I love your composition with the sharper flower facing into the shot and the blurred ones facing outwards. I love how yout frame picks up and complements the colours in the shot.

However, the focus on the main flower, is not quite sharp. The sharpest point appears to be the back of the flower. For me, it does detract a little. Sorry!

Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Good Morning Francis, my friend!

I know you have great pictures in your gallery but this is an exception, sadly covering negetive aspects.

It is hard for me to critique this picture, as your subject is not at all in focus. In addition, rather lesser contrast make this picture even less attractive.

Pardon me for my critiques, but to be very frank I think I say the truth. Hope you understand the way I think. Please feel free to (dis)agree.

best regards,
Paras

Bonjour Francis.

Les couleurs sombres et la belle présentation font de cette image une excellente composition florale.
Le cadrage est aussi bien mis en valeur.
Bon week-end.
Urs

Hello Francis, the colours are deep, rich and beautiful. The soft effect is what I like, it emphasises the colours for me.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Francis

For me, sharpness / dof is not the critical issue here. I may try a workshop & increase brightness & contrast, in selected areas. The overall emotive impact of these attractive blue & purple flowers is still quite strong, despite the minor technical flaws. Tfs!

Ciao Francis

The fine composition is eye-catching!
The close-up work is well done, with sharp
fine details in the delicate flowers...
This species is new to me, and I admire the fine details!

Greetings,

Sergio
