As I was browsing Vienna's Christmas market I was captivated by the selection of glittering ornaments at this one booth. You could never capture the beauty by buying one or two ornaments and taking them home for your tree.
No, you have to experience them in the chilly evening outdoors, with people talking and laughing all around you. As you walk through the crowd, you catch the glimmer of something beautiful, and you move in closer through the crowd, standing on your tiptoes to see. Finally you work your way close enough to see the entire display, many fragile ornaments all together, each different and each beautiful in its own way. You hold your breath for a few seconds, in awe of the beauty created by a simple assortment of small balls.
You think of checking the price, but then you realize that you could never buy enough ornaments to duplicate this fleeting experience of beauty in the dark cold of this evening. It is better not to ruin the experience by checking the price. Just gaze a moment longer, and then move on your way through the busy crowd, warmed by the vision of beauty that you have experienced. |

Fantastic glitter and I love the choice of sepia here: it allows the glitter and form to shine. Outstanding notes!!!
Great POV, dof, and lighting
