How contrasting with the peaceful scenery around ... maybe we need this kind of memories ... maybe we'll learn something ... sometime ...

have a peaceful weekend,

Hello Karatas,

A well composed presentation of this surprising structure!
The people works as scaling and tell me this is huge, and not particular attractive architecture neither...
The location in the middle of this nice park makes a strange contrast!

Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Karatas,

Love the contrast between the Beauty and the Beast ! This shot reminded me Francis F Coppola “Godfather”, he cut the “ugly” Scenes in the movie, with peaceful ones.

Some times we need to be reminded of the horror! Some said…that is true.
But I agree with you. If this nazi tower was Lisboa, I hated too!

Best regards,
Romeu

Hi Karatas,
I agree that it coul be a nice park without this building. Anyway, the frame is attractive, it is good to see happy people on a sunny day. Great contrast between the different colours.
Regards,
Kristof

Hi K.
You're right, there are things we do not understand why are not destroid, pure and simple. However great capture very well composed and with fantastic colours.

Hi Karatas,
This big tower is a sad print of History, indeed!
The colors, light and shadows, dark big tower and lightness in the air, all elements make a great contrasting image. Very good perspective and urban relaxing place!
Very well done! Annie

Very unqiue looking form there Karatas.
Very sad indeed, and a powerful photo,
that shows modern day along with it.
Great contrasting subkects.
Well done.

Hello Karatas,

it is very sad yes,
I don't have a lot to speak of this episode of the history,
but as members above said - maybe we need this kind of memories -.
The landscape is beautiful and colors excellent my friend...
Be not sad, your lament is of all of us!

Sérgio

na ja!!! that is really a part of history and we cannot change it anymore... but at the moment I can say we can somewhat change our living by having respect to humanity and showing love to others... peace man...

merhaba karataş bey kardeşim...
7 gündür yoktum, sıcağa dayanamayan meryem ve diğer kardeşlerini düzce ye bıraktım, ben işleriy yoğunluğu nedeniyle geri dönmek zorunda kaldım...selamlar

Hello Karatas,
This seems unreal, indeed... The tower has the menacing power of a "heavy" black and white and contrasts with the sunny colours of the park... War and peace in one photo. A good photographic job, that perfectly conveys that ambivalent feel...
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

HI Kataras
Your city probably voted to keep the ugly giant structure, so that it stands as a monument to all those who died, and also a reminder to everyone not to let it ever happen again, and if it did, it would be their turn to be ready. I am from the war era where fear of this madness was instilled into everyone, regarless where you lived.

You have a good composition, nice and sharp, showing people enjoying the park. The structure looks dark and menacing, and definitely an eye sore.

Hi karatas

Good placement of the tower off centre, with a marvellous blue sky, to offset the green grass. Tfs!
