[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the abandoned Wasserberg Sawmill in the center of Zeltweg. That day a friend of mine tried to reactivate a Ford Transit that was also abandoned there.

We pulled the vehicle several times round the rotten building. While he and anohter friend were working at the engine i did this shot.

-camera set to sepia
-the sun was behind the building but got through a hole in the wall on the other side of the sawmill, reflected by a puddle.
-focused the reflection of the sun in the little puddle

thats it ;-)

PP: cropped a bit, frame. nothing else.

if you copy the image to your computer and increase brightness and/or contrast you can see the puddle and other parts of the building.

To be honest, I can't get off that bright dot in the centre, eye's hushing to and fro.
Brillant backligh-shot, Martin, excellent sharpness of the buildings roof-attachments. Moody, moody.... lots of space to let our phantasy play around, listening to the silence of the abandoned mill. Or is there still anybody at work?.... dreaming....

hi martin!
good job again!!
have a nice day man!

An interesting composition, Martin! Simple but effective, my eyes go the tower on top... next to the bright spot... then after a while I start seeking for details in the darker areas... I like it!
Regards,
Pablo -
