I live in Singapore, so it kinda does :-)
I think the idea is great and the general composition works well. But it looks a little too overexposed to me - I'm not sure about f2.8 for this type of shot, it's too wide an aperture I think. A narrower aperture would have helped the OE, increased sharpness and possible helped bring out more in the range of colours. Just my thoughts :-)

What if...! Wouldn't that be great ;-) But no, now you are facing another 6 cold months >:-)

I like the point of view. I agree with Richard about the overexposure, on the other hand it gives me the feeling that I'm staring straight into the sun, and makes me squint my eyes.
