[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The renaissance-style Sint-Pauluskerk in Antwerpen.
It all started in 1571 as part of a monastry,after the French closed the monastry in 1796 it became a church.
In 1968 there was a big inferno and the whole place burned down,fortunately a lot of the pieces of art,many from Rubens,van Dyck and Quelinus inside were safed(risking their lifes!) by the people(most of them prostitutes),living around the building!
Finally in 1988 it was all back to the original state again,a great place with history.

Beautiful soft colors in this interior shot. Not sure what size lens you used but you mastered any alighment issues very well. Perfect DOF - clear and sharp fron to back - well composed placing the alter off center.

Nicely captured Jan. Well composed with good colour, light and detail. Perhaps reducing the size of the frame more detail may have been visible?

Wow! Splendid capture of the interior view to show such impressive architecture details and you did very well at 1/20s to show such sharp details. A fine composition in vertical. I like the rows of chairs in giving a nice contrast here.

Not sure if tripod is used?

Een groot weergegeven interieur.
Ik denk dat als ik a-sysmetrisch had gewild, ik een stuk verder naar rechts was gegaan en via dat preekgestoelte --- heb ook eigenlijk geen idee, heb je er meer gemaakt?

Wel potverdorie, da's bij wijze van spreken bij mij om de hoek, Jan ;o).
Heb je ook de poort gezien die toegang geeft tot de beeldengang in de tuin, de zogenaamde Jeruzalempoort?
Een mooie compo, en of ie nou symmetrisch of asymmetrisch is maakt niets uit.
Leuk is dat je hier die eerste vloertegels met het ruitenpatroon helemaal hebt genomen, hoewel er dan een beetje van het plafond is weggevallen. Mooi gedaan.
Ik ben alleen helemaal niet zeker van de witbalans in het shot. Het geheel ziet er me wat te groen uit. Welke setting heb je gebruikt??
