Spring at Riverbank
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The "Laarse Beek" is a small river of importance to the bounderies of several communities. Recently, at a few hundred yards from here, during works for the HST (High Speed Train)archeologists found traces of iron-age habitation.
This is where I spent my youth, although about the only traffic that passed then was an occasional horse and cart rattling over the cobblestones.
On this rainy spring-day last week, the bend close to the road offered a splendid view, especially with the bright daffodils. Still heaving on my bike, I took a few shots in between the passing traffic.
Used several techniques in PP. Watercolour, then Angled Strokes. Selected the (too white) sky and pasted it in a separate layer, covered with gradient.
Another layer provided the "paper-texture", finally fooled around with the frame. |

You really turned this piece of nature into an impressionist painting, Walter. Outstanding PP work as always... TFS.
