This is my dog Rozie again. She was actually very relaxed looking at the bleu sky. You can actually see the reflection of it in her eye.

Perhaps a little experimenting next with composition, your subject -the eye - is placed very much in the centre - check out the 'rule of thirds' (Google it) and I'll be interested to see what else you can do!
By the way Rozie is very nice and I like her very much.

Lovely capture, I have a soft spot for labradors and this is exactly why. Their eyes really are so wonderful. soft and intelligent.
