Don't they know when they buy these homes that the air traffic is heavy specially if they are near an airport?... the photo definately depicts well the trails. Nice colours too Walter. Thanks

Nicely done, Walter. Good light and nice reflection in the pond. Is it me or there is a little tilt? Still, great job of exposing the problem visually.
Nice shot Walter! I don't know if I'll congratulate you or feel sorry for you (if live here). Aside from the noise, I suppose the danger from the jet engine fumes (not to mention accidents) increases in places like this.

Airport madness...... Bet the airport was there before the homes? In the US, they built airports far out, the city follows, the people buy the cheap houses, and complain about noise. Becasue of noise, they bought a house cheap, then they want no airport to make the noise..... life!

Walter, this wonderful shot of yours reminds me of September 11, 2001, when the terrorists attacked our country. All air traffic was shut down for days and I remember looking at the sky and thinking how eerie it was because we are so accustom to seeing skies like you have shown.

I have a photo that shows the trails here in Belgium too, is true that appart from not being natural and sometimes making a sky look ugly, it surely harms the already damaged ozone layer :(
