( I used this expression before so I put it between double quotes. )
Well, it looked funny to me :-)

Tech

I was shooting from ground level to 1st or 2nd floor
So there was an angle I should fix.
First horizontal level, second vertical.
Must admit : not the succes I hoped for
Cropped : tried to maintain as much as possible the
2:3 ratio but that was worthless !
Adjustment layer only on " Adam and Eve " region
to brighting it up and add contrast.
Resize, sharpen it, etc for TL.

Hope you see also " my humor "

Yes, I like it, Jan, you are absolutely right! I think I got your idea. Its representation is interesting and the title matches it perfectly well!

Hi Jan ,
You aimed and shot from one storey below , it changes the perspective quite a bit and it is indeed difficult to correct afterwards , i have prepared a WS for you ,hope you agree and like it.I like the broken window , it adds either a sense of negligence from the ownner or recent action from vandals because obviously the flowers infer that the house is probably still occupied ! I value highly the genuine crafmanship that has gone into the stonecarvings on the facade ,it's great art as much as Leuven itself is a grand city architecturally ! I stopped here long ago, without a doubt it's one of the nicest in Belgium !

Het recht trekken van lijntjes die vertekend zijn door perspectief is niet altijd simpel, maar je hebt hier toch wel je best op gedaan vind ik. Zelf zou ik iets nauwer croppen, vooral boven- en onderaan. Zo vallen die onnodige stukjes daar weg, en bouw je een natuurlijk frame in voor dit tafereel.
'k Heb dit ook getrokken, natuurlijk. Maar heel het gebouw, geen close-up.

Nu vind ik dit niet je meest begeesterende foto, Jan, maar toch...
Op the thumbnail lijkt dat gat in het vensterraam verdacht veel op een ruwe schets van ons Koninkrijk België. En dan krijgen die "Trouble in Paradise", alsook Adam en Eva, wel een heel andere dimensie ;o).
Voorts vind ik dat je de "angles" goed "gefixt" hebt, hoor. Ik miszie er niets aan. En al evenmin aan Adam en Eva, die je selectief doch onmerkbaar hebt opgesmukt.
Kortom: het ga hen - en jou! - goed ;o)
