Your photos are amazing Alan! I especially love this one! The man and the dogs are just perfect here, with the light coming in I just think it's awesome! Nice job on the handheld shot here and such a slow shutter speed! But necessary for such harsh contrasts! Nice work!

Great backlighting effect here with really nice depth of field. Good presentation of the subject/ story too.

Dit heeft iets van een droom, Lucky. Uiteraard door de sneeuw en de vorst, maar ook door de manier waarop het zonlicht zich door de bomen wringt en ons een doorkijkje geeft naar het paradijs achter de haag ;o). Mooi ook, hoe de donkere silhouetten van de wandelaar en de honden interageren met die lichtvlek.
Knap werk qua lichtmeting, met goede en uitgebalanceerde wittinten.
En dan is er uiteraard de boeiende compositie in het vierkante formaat. Een formaat dat ik af en toe ook uitprobeer, maar dat wel jou handelsmerk lijkt. Zozeer zelfs dat ik me begin af te vragen of je dat formaat (en dus de uit te voeren crop) al niet in gedachten hebt wanneer je, het fototoestel in de hand, aan het kadreren bent...
