Picture taken from the ship lock in Hasselt on the Albertchanel.Took several pictures with different settings because it is quit difficult to shoot against the low sun..liked this one because of the sunglare on the water..no pp except for the cropping here..

A very beautiful composition, Leon. The sun's reflection on the water is magnificent, as is the sun between the clouds... but for me the key to success for this picture is the arrow-like quay in the center, pointing in the direction of these boats.
A pity for these large electric wire supports - they seem to be everywhere in Belgium.

Good capture, I like the perspective and the sun reflecting off of the water and boats.

I think you have done an excellent job with your shooting... a golden photo it is! The converging lines suggest strongly the leaving of the ships, as they seem ti head for the same exit to so open sea somewhere... I cant help it. Must add this one to my favs!

Very nice composition, and great timimg to catch the gold sun and its reflection on the water.

I think I have already seen it on TE? It's a very good idea to share it on TL!
It's a very nice shot Leon.
I really like the sun light within the clouds, and the point of view from which you shot this.
Bravo !

De kleuren van de wolken en de weerspiegeling van de zon in het water en op de schepen is prachtig.

You caught a nice sun with a good reflection - a bit like a classical painting. But something bothered me and I found it is the lock in front. Try to imagine cropping higher so that the corners become where the edges of the canal meet the water. It makes a more panoramic but I think also more dramatic image. That way the eye would concentrate more on all the boats and the sunset.

The light is very good, I think, Leon.
It makes this almost "industrial shot"even warm and romantic. A very "long" picture, I like the chanel in this view.

Résultat bien réussi malgré un fort contre-jour.
En PP a l'aide des courbes tu aurais probablement pu améliorer le rendu des couleurs.
