Phillip, good shot, you did well to capture the sun just behind the clouds, this avoids lens flare. There is a good range of colours in the uppermost clouds you can see their texture clearly. Well done. Paul.

Very nice silouette, well done!

very nice picture! amazing landscape!
congrats

This is a great composition Phillip. I like the way you got down low to place the vegetation in the foreground, leaving a big space for the sky. Lovely silhouette. Hope you enjoyed your lunch with your Mum. She's a special person you know.

What is unusual about this shot is the very unique angle used see the world around us. The big sky along with the foreground silhouette is very effective. Keep up the good work. By the way, my son , 14 years old, is also a member (maksr) - you guys should compare notes and chat.

Hi Phillip... Nice to met you..its great to see a younger person on Treklens... well done for nagging mum to let you have your own account... its fun.. and im sure you will enjoy and learn heaps...
This is a great photo... (im a learner too) and i was only just reading how one should get down low.. and take photos just like this..capturing the view that a small animal would have looking up to the sky...so this is a good choice of composition.. Well Done..

Regards
Dawn in New Zealand.

I've never seen such a young person with the "photographer's eye", but you sure have it. Beautiful composition here, well seen and shot.

Bonjour Phillip,
Je devrais plutôt dire : bonjour l'artiste ! C'est une belle image que tu nous proposes là; Ton ciel est superbe et les hautes herbes en silhouette sont intéressantes. Merci.
Gérard

Great silhouettes of the reeds!I like the reeds leading the viewer's sight to the sky!Oh, the sky is very dramatic and interesting!Thank's for sharing.
