[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At a short distance from the bustling city, one can still find views such as this, anno 2005. Founded in the 8th century and a towncenter to prove its history, Bazel is a gem, far from well known places, thus retaining its tranquility.
A view like this is a challenge to the PS-painter ;-), I made several versions, still couldn't decide which one to post.

Amazing. Pity you didn't tell more about the techniques used. Sure would like to see the original.

I like this, nice colour, good work.
Maybe the sky is to much, but that is personal.

You hand me another tip about where to take Dingo for a walk, Walter ;o). Nice PP work, the original is ok too but I like what you did with it... especially the canvas effect! TFS.
Hey, what about the comic book series... I wanna know how it all ends, you know ;o)

PS painter indeed! the first thing i thought when seeing this was how terribly good you are at creating these subtle PP effects that really do look 'done by hand' and not at all over processed.. reminded me also of the techniques you used in you Old Port shot recently :-) this is so lovely.. from the composition to the 'fade out' inner mask framing and everything in between you've made all the right choices, and i love the particular effect you decided on.. i know what you mean about having to choose between so many versions! i'm like that too ihih, when you look at the original in your workshop you can only appreciate more how you've transformed this scene! excellent work ^_^

A painting, which is very nice done. The picture is fantastic with it's composition, very nice foreground leading us to the fields and the village with the red roofs and the church, very rural and that's what I like, Walter, great shot !

Hello Walter, your capture of the village is like a portrait or the painting of a village. Nice colours and the effects are spectacular. Really a pleasent photograph with very interesting things in it. Regards
