A beuatiful day by the lake of Overmere resulted in shooting some photo's (offcourse), and as we were sailing with a motorboat on the lake, I fealt like taking a picture of us. I grabbed my camera, stretched my arm and pointed the trigger...
First Wendy thought it was an awful picture, but when we saw it on my computer-screen, we both liked it a lot!
Tech: Cropped on the right side a bit of my body, because I always had jaggies when I resized the whole picture. Copied the picture to an other layer, applied Gaussian Blur 3.0 to it, and putted the original, a bit smaller above it. Applied one of the standard frames.

hi koen, very nice self potraits... and you looks so smart and your gf looks very pretty. wat a match. ehehehe... actually i think this is a very nice photo, except that i think most of the parts of the photo are too bright or over-exposed. maybe you guys are under very hot and strong sun? or maybe the flash too strong? OK..i made a simple workshop, converting the photo to sephia mode and adjusted some curve to make it looks a different way. hope you like it.
nice day

Great photo of your both.. I think i prefer the coloured one.. all though a little bright on g/friends face..have often done this too..grab the camera and taken pics in this way..and usually they turn out great..its fun..thanks for sharing.
A really good self portrait, Koen. It's amazing how well centered the two of you are. It is a touch overexposed but what can you do when you can't even see the screen? Nice post!
