Hi Hans,

Hahaha, is this a metaphor for the development of a full and new cabinet in Belgium?! :-D Rainy window, empty glass... It fits just right with the current situation, but I wish you all well and hope for a new cabinet. ;-)

Hallo Hans-Ludwig,
Belgischer kan het niet, inderdaad. Dit is echt wat je noemt "Belgitude", die onbestemde maar tegelijkertijd typische sfeer die over ons speciale landje hangt. Iets waar je nooit 100% tevreden over kunt zijn, maar wat je al evenmin zou kunnen missen.
Je foto brengt dat goed tot uitdrukking. Je vraagt je af wat voorgrond is en wat achtergrond, wat hoofdzaak en wat bijzaak, wat grappig en wat droevig. Alles lijkt in elkaar over te vloeien en het enige waar je echt zeker van bent, is het tikken van de regen.
Knap werk, eens te meer...
