Nathalie,
I checked all your pictures. You like to spend time with your camera. I will try to do drop jobs as you. I critised this one coz it is realy suprisingly up laterally..
Good jobs

Erbil

Welcome Nathalie
see a water droplet. This is a large skill. Very good macro composition and interesting experiment.

Hi Nathalie,
This is awesome! Looks perfectly done, great timing with the shutter to get this capture. I like the exposure and focus here, the coloured plastic bag has produced some nice tones. Excellent idea.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Nathalie
Well done here. This is something I keep meaning to try. You have caught the droplet at just the right moment. So how many shots did it take to get this one?
Cheers
Phil

This is a delightful shot!
Super sharpness int the subject, excellent blur to the BG, great comp (very close to the thirds) and wonderful timing.
I notice in your intro that you object to notes -- but your notes here are precisely the kind of notes that we should be using -- something that explains how it was done.
The other kinds of notes that work well are those that explain the motivation of a photographer, because we can learn from those as well.
Thanks for your message to me. It has been forwarded to the right people. (Forgive me for not giving you my email - with members like the one in question, you can understand why I'd be exceptionally reluctant to share that information. Give me time and I may be able to :)

hi nathalie, nice to meet you! i like your work on these water droplets, very cool, i guess one needs a macro lens to do this? my lens says macro but not a true 1:1 macro, its 2.8 and i can basically fit a regular playing card to fill the frame and i can get as close as 1/2 inch away from my subject-see my work if u like, do you think this lens will work for this cool technique?

thanks
scott
