[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
... they made for their instrument.
Don't you agree ? :-)

Took this one on the yearly festivity in my home town.
Almost a year ago hmmm.

Tech :

Because I didn't gave attention to the f-stop
I got a large DOF. That was stupid !
So I used Gaussian blur on the back ground.
Found it quite a job extracting those two.

Cloned out some ugly papers on the street

Did some cropping because they where in front of a table.

Then the usual thing : contrast, sharpning, levels
and resize.

Hope to post some photos of the next festivity
THIS year ... ;-)

Hope you like this one
Greetings
Jan

I can't believe it, you really posted another picture, Jan? LOL.
Reading your note I can see why you say "I'm working on another post"... must have been quite some work getting a good extraction. Well, it paid off, I guess... Also because you kept the GB within reason; setting it too harsh would create a blurry halo around the musicians.

Still, one nit-pick: between the ring of the tuba and the player's body/arm I can see a SHARP piece of the bike's wheel!

I like how you kept the whites in control here, they still contain lots of detail.

Die rechtse lijkt wat op een bepaalde collega van ons, niet?

Sjo Janneman een toeterplaat :-)
Must agree with Dingo, ther selction isn't perfect indeed the sharp bike wheel. Also I think the tuba is OE in my opinion. Decreasing brihtness and increasing contrast and saturation might improve the image. Nevertheless the scene is priceless a nice twin of toetering musicians :-)
Nice spotted Jan!

Jan,

TFS
Els

Hi dear friend,
:))) totally agree with you!
Best wishes,
Ioana
