Nothing personal, just a sequal to my previous post, “No, I won’t !” . Again a message/feeling of hope, shown in an unusual way (at least I think). I thought the blue colour was appropriate, as it expresses the despair the person is in - despair which will turn into hope if he manages to open the door (and he will ;o)).

Oui, j’y parviendrai… ;o)
Ceci n'a rien de personnel, juste la suite de ma photo précédente, “No, I won’t !” . A nouveau un message/sentiment d’espoir, véhiculé de façon inhabituelle – du moins je le pense. J'ai cru que la couleur blue exprime bien le désespoir de la personne - désespoir qui se transformera en espoir s'il arrive à ouvrir la porte (et il y arrivera ;o)).

Ja, ik kom er wel… ;o).
Niets persoonlijks, gewoon het vervolg op mijn voorgaande foto “No, I won’t !” . Opnieuw een boodschap/gevoel van hoop, weergegeven op een – althans volgens mij – ongewone manier. Blauw leek mij de meest aangewezen kleur om de wanhoop van de persoon uit te drukken. Wanhoop die hoop zal worden, als hij erin slaagt de deur te openen. En dat zál hem lukken ;o).
Dank voor uw commentaar, kritiek en suggesties.

Une photo vaut mille mots! elle montre l'espoir d'un jour meilleur et que le sujet n'a pas passé à l'action .Excellent cliché et composition et belle prise de vue..

Hallo Erik,
Weer een staaltje sterke beeldtaal waar ik van hou: suggestief in een mooie compositie. De kleur blauw is gewaagd, maar pakt goed uit!
De compositie laat veel aande fantasie van de toeschouwer over, dit maakt hem zo sterk.
Zo was mijn eerste reactie: de persoon reikt naar de deur van het toilet: "haalt hij het of haalt hij het niet?".
Je bent in staat om je nieuwe thema "gevoel" vorm te kunnen geven op een originele manier.

Mij komt het over als een aarzelend gebaar..Een angst om de deur te openen...

Weer een goed uitgewerkte conceptfoto. Vooral de houding van de hand geeft de spanning heel goed weer.
Scherpte zit goed.
Mooi !

Mooi beeldverhaal met een ondersteunende noot Erik, mooie kleuren en een prima lichtwerking.

I think this does show hope in a mysterious way...it sort of reminds me of the Saw movies..if you have ever seen them?? This is sort of like finding light and hope at the end of a dark tunnel. Sort of like a conquer..
If this makes any sense. :)

Et une bonne suite pour " no i won't ". L'utilisation d'un bleu, couleur très froide aide bien à donner une ambiance déprimante.

An interesting and "less is more" composition. It has a strong diagonal and not so obvious L-shape. I like the simplicity - it leaves the objects dominant. There is no clutter. The lighting is a bit off - a bit underexposed. The detail is lost in the dark area of the door handle. It also looks as if the photo was cropped from a much larger photo(?) - maybe it is just the jpeg pixellation that I'm seeing. The shadows make the photo more "real" - they soften the harsh outlines. I like it!
