Spirou, a strip character got a statue in the city of Charleroi, birthplace of Franquin, the stripartist that did not create the character, but was responsible for its look the time he drew it. Although Spirou is portrayed here with a footbal, it is the Charleroi basketball-club that proudly took his name.

I had no idea there was a statue of Spirou!! I love your pp work. It goes perfectly with the "strip comic" feeling. Good work. Looks great seen from the back! Well done :-)
