Monceau Castel

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
After the Abbey, here is a new serie on the Monceau-sur-Sambre Castel and its grounds.
It's a Castel of the 17th and 18th centuries. It seems that it was built during 14th century. It was destroyed in 1554 and rebuilt in 1607. The grounds has been inspired from Versailles one. (same designer)
Actualy, it's the propety of Charleroi City and the grounds is opened to the public.
This shot has been done early in the morning, with a small mist, often present in the morning at this season because of water (small river)(We couldn't see this mist very well on this photo) |

This castle looks very nice in the soft morning light - as do most things. But it is the fog that drew my attention immediately, and you captured it very well Bernard. TFS.
Looking back at the picture, I think some sharpening would be possible, still...
The start of a fresh serie. The contrasting colors are well seen. Mist is many times hard to capture. Ever considered the fact how superior our own eyes are, compared to even the best cameras? Good shot, I'll be waiting for more!

Beautiful capture Bernard, the early morning light is excellent and the low fog on the ground adds very much to the shot.
