I think the light, composition, and mood of this shot are all ok.

I do think it presents a good argument for sharpening after resizing; the focus on her face seems a little soft and I think the shot loses interest as a result.

Maybe a pose like this could use a little more space around it, particularly above, although you chose the perfect POV for her.

mooie expressie, het heeft de koude weer van het moment, maar het gezicht mocht wel scherper, want de scherpte ligt net op de hoten planken.

The composition here is super -- it feels very cold just looking at her.
She is placed at exactly the right point in the frame. But I think it would have had more impact if she had been looking into the camera

Technisch?
Wel, ik vind dat dwarsplankje linksboven redelijk storend, en de foto is een beetje gedraaid, Erik. Dat zou ik corrigeren, na rechtzetten valt dat stukje er wel af.
Ik zou je zus ook liever wat meer naar rechts hebben gezet, haar hoofd is nu nogal dicht bij die bevroren webben.

Gevoelsmatig?
Het lijkt alsof ze het wat koud had. Verder niets op aan te merken, wat de scherpte betreft had je gelijk, die is goed genoeg.

You picked a PERFECT background.
The background textures and colors are very interesting, and they make her hair and the color of her coat really pop out..and the colors of her coat actually make her face stand out, which almost leads me right into her emotions and the way she is feeling..
Nice simple lighting and details, even without sharpening.
A job well done.

Bonjour Erik !

Pour employer une expression connue , elle me plaît beaucoup ta soeur (^_^) ... ???? Voir Astérix en Corse (^_*). Elle est bien mignonne.

Sérieusement, il semble faire aussi froid chez vous que chez nous, à en juger par son expression. Ou encore, c'est le découragement parce que tu prends trop de temps à faire ta mise au point. LOL !

Blague à part , je me joins à mes prédécesseurs. POV , Excellent choix. Tout comme Rew, j'opterais pour un ajout de netteté. Un peu plus d'espace au-dessus de la tête aurait été souhaitable. Mais j'adore son expresion .

Continue ton beau travail, et Merci à tous les deux pour le partage !

Salut Erik, j'ai été attirée par le titre de cette photo et par le fait qu'il s'agissait d'un portrait (ce sont les gens qui m'intéressent le plus, bien avant les paysages) : la netteté est parfaite, j'aime beaucoup les couleurs, quant à l'expression : si tu avais écrit quelque chose d'autre dans la note, on aurait interprété la photo de façon différente - j'aime ce regard songeur et les toiles d'araignées + l'aspect abandonné de la cabane, l'ensemble a quelque chose de mystérieux !

ErikSven, DON'T change a thing in this beautiful, and well staged, portrait. The introductory poem is well written, also. Wonderful feeling, mood, colors, subject, framing and perspective. What else could one ask for?
