Hi Erik!
You have a strong composition there, and those shadows are contributing a lot. The road lead my eye into a peaceful and harmonic landscape.
B&W is a good choice for this picture I think.

A superb capture here, lovely scenic POV with an excellent lead through with the road. Superb contrast between light and shady areas that really are suited to B/W. A good sharp image nicely framed too.

Marvelous shadows on the road, excellent tones! There is an illusion of "tilting" not sure if the road is tilted and it just looks like the horizon line is off, or if it really is! That's one only YOU know! HAHA! Fantastic shot here Erik!

Tonaliteit, scherpte, allemaal ok, zoals we van jou gewoon zijn.

Ritme is één ding, maar het accent , in dit geval de schaduw van de poort maakt de foto. Eventueel iets meer contrast in de lucht zou het nog een tikkeltje beter maken, maar het is een hele goeie sowieso.

Nice textures you captured, Erik. And that special shade, of course. Weird, as to the left nothing gives away the structure that cast its shadow on the road. Good compo and a nice, tranquil scene; a lovely place for hiking, I reckon ;o).

Heeel mooi! Die schaduw is ook gaaf zeg. Je POV is goed gekozen en de goed zichtbare textuur van het asvalt staat mooi af tegen de aarde/ natuur eromheen. (Leuke tegenstelling in detailles :-))

C'est là une bien belle scène champêtre prise en pleine période de récolte de bois. Agréable composition avec toutes ces billes empilées en bordure du chemin et son tracé qui se courbe vers la gauche. Perspective agréable et jolie jeu d'ombres et de lumière.
