Toch één maar ( uiteraard ... )
Ik veronderstel dat tussen de twee bovenste balken
er een streep lucht zit ?
Die valt bij mij wat uit de toon.
( tov de mooie sneeuwlijnen )

Hi, Erik!

Likes the materiality of the wood, his rustic. The dialogue of the wood and the snow likes. The framework over vigourous, a narrower cut would be better possibly on top of the picture.

Best mooi qua structuur, Eric. Gewoon heel mooi qua kleuren en de afwisseling tussen wit en bruin/beige.
Voor mij werkt het veel beter als compo wanneer je zou bijsnijden tot net onder de bovenste sneeuwlaag. Ik vind dat die er veel te "gladjes" uitziet: te rechte lijnen en geen structuur erin. Vergeef me de uitdrukking, maar het lijkt een beetje op een scheur in de foto, en dat vind ik jammer. Ik probeer even iets in PS.
Anyway, just my 2 cents. Niet van wakker liggen ;o)

Heel goed gedaan !
De sneeuw is nog mooi doortekend en de schaduwen ook.
Ik vind het wel spijtig dat de bovenste zone een overbelichte hemel is. Dat doet m.i. wel wat af van het beeld.

Une photographie que j'aime bien pour les fins détails du bois, de la neige au premier plan, l'originalité de l'idée. La présentation carré me plaît bien car appropriée à ce genre de prise de vue.

excellent shot. Good contrast of colours (brown against white), textures (regular, "dotty" of the snow vs unordered "linear" of the wood, finally cold of the snow against warmness of the wood. A sandwiched layers of the wood and the snow add to this shot making quite strong and clear composition. tfs

Hi Erik,

Mijn oog werd heel erg getrokken door deze foto. Een abstract in de natuur en toen ik hem opende werd ik niet teleurgesteld.
Prachtige lagen opbouw, uitstekende details (kan elk houtsplintertje zien) en sneeuw in de kleur zoals sneeuw behoort te zijn.
Perfect frame voor deze foto.
