great portrait! pose and light are good, but in mine opinion the black is too black. more detail in the body would make it better.

The liking detail here is the use of cig smoke to connect the otherwise two separated areas of 'white' – the cig holding hand and the face. Nice silverfish tone of his hair and face, good soft focus … very nice b/w.
