After my rather dark previous post, I’m glad to offer you all some colours of hope. I was driving home from the Belgian Ardennes (a wooded plateau with deep valleys covering the South of Belgium – see horizon). It had been raining and thundering all over the afternoon, but the more I drove to the North, the more the sun reappeared…

Après ma photo précédente plutôt sombre, je vous offre volontiers quelques couleurs d’espoir. Je rentrais chez moi après un séjour en Ardenne belge (plateau boisé avec des vallées encaissées couvrant le sud de la Belgique - voir horizon). Durant l’après-midi, le ciel s’était déchaîné. Mais au fur et à mesure que je me dirigeais vers le nord, le soleil refit son apparition…

Na mijn nogal sombere vorige foto breng ik er graag weer wat kleur in. De hoop is teruggekeerd! Ik reed naar huis na een verblijf in de Belgische Ardennen (zoals iedereen wel weet: een bebost plateau met diepe valleien in het zuiden van België - zie horizon). Het had de hele namiddag geregend en geonweerd, maar naarmate ik verder noordwaarts reed, deed de zon opnieuw zijn intrede.

Great capture of the clouds. I think it looks just a bit dark, but it's ok. Maybe some levels or saturation might do the trick. Beautiful landscape picture.

Prachtig verzicht met mooi wolkenspel

bonjour Erik.
Magnifique ce mariage des nuages avec la couleur du sol.
Sur cette photo j'aurai donné plus de valeur aux nuages qu'au sol. Par exemple éliminer la partie verte du premier plan et je pense ainsi que tu aurais eu des nuages d'une grande beauté.

Zeer leuke compo met 1/3 onder , dan 1/6 and 3/6 !!!
Nice layering. Only one small nit: the horizon seems "off" a bit... But hey that cou;d be in hilly terrain! Nice colour palette too! Tfs, Jay

I love this shot! Mainly for the clouds! There is something about colorful clouds that is so nice! This is such a relaxin shot here Erik! One of your BEST!
