The sharpness and clarity are what first drew me to this shot. Then, as my eyes wandered, I noticed the dog. Then I noticed the effective use of negative space (as mentioned in your profile). Then I noticed the nice deep colour contrasted with a pleasant blue sky. Nice work Huub.

HI Huub, first of all the red makes a nice contrast against the blue sky and second it is a miracle that dog never fell out of the window, with only a little bar to sort of keep him from doing so.lol

Hallo Huub. Mooie stukje vakwerk. Ik bedoel de foto natuurlijk, mooie compositie in rood en blauw. De hond staat niet alleen voor het raam maar ook nog op een mooie plaats in de foto.
Groet Frans.

Hello,Huub! It is done,I now have a headache and there is no red cross on my screen, just a red battery! Is the distortion with the building in the middle of the image really created by the wide angle? It looks like a "lego" buliding that is going to fall down soon! Very funny and weird picture with that dog standing in the upper right corner window! I feel like being a witness in a kind of "daymare"! Very interesting picture after all! I am going to see another one and leave my headache here! Well done! Michel

I just read Michel's comment and I must admit that he has expressed very well the feeling of looking at this picture, like everything is falling apart. The dog adds a very surreal feel to this picture. Excellent!

Bonjour Huub,
first, you don't have to "solve" a wide angle effect. I think the compo, colors, DOF and sharpness are really effective. Very interresting POV = great shot. I don't know why you don't want points, it deserves some... Congratulations!

Opnieuw een meesterwerk een echte HUUB dus.

Er zullen wel meer honden hoog gelegen wonen maar die manier om aan een stenen gebouw zo met hout te versieren ,nog nooit op gelet! Helder beeld!

Very intersting image Hubb. nice colours great contrast and very intersting comp.
I also have some distortions with wide angles, some of them look pretty funny to me as well. Once I "tlted" badly the Bath Cathedral :0)))
Anyway, a funny and well realised image.
Well done!
take care, Stef :))

Hi Huub,
That is really a nice capture!! The distortion didn't bothered me at all. It is very minimal.
As usual, nice colors and wonderful graphism. I am sorry!! I could not resist myself from not giving points :) TFS.
Kiran.

Nice work spotting this dog in an open window. Sometimes distortion happens and it can't be avoided. Have you tried the skew tool? I like the composition and the sharpness of the image is first class. Well done.

Hi Huub,
it's again so beautiful - with the nice bonus - the dog ;-)
The colours and forms are very nice, intensive red in combination with the blue sky.
Also a good POV, thanks

i like it the way it is, and Elif's WS aswell:))
the dog makes everything right about this picture, sharpness is excellent, colours strong...so, you can't be perfect, a little distortion not to upset the gods:))
