Very nice composition, nice lines and nice colours, John. They are so concentrated on their work that they haven't noticed you. The background and the sky are very pleasing to look at. This is actually in my mind a true Treearth picture, but it is nice to find it here on TL.

John, excellent picture. The diagonal lines of the rust covered tracks and the position of the locomotive (rule of thirds). Excellent colors and composition !

Very interesting shot, John. A fine diagonal made by the rusty tracks, and the two workers in front of the engine are well captured. Great colors. Like Per wrote, this one would have been appropriate for TE as well. Good job.

A perfect illustration of how people can renovate what has been forgotten due to economical reasons. Very well framed, and, as usual in your shots, the luminous flemish light and sky are there. People working and their tools are also adding life to this image. Just two remarks... would also fit on TE, and about sharpnees (a bit too harsh). I have a ws ready.

This is a charming image of everyday life, nicely composed with soft, warm, natural spring colors. I might have cropped that tiny branch to the right of the railroad signal but that is a minor point when balanced against the fine detail of your photo. I like it. It speaks well both of your skill and the camera with which you are working. With so many folks producing such fine work with the Digital Rebel I'm feeling myself getting the bug to buy one, especially as the prices keep falling. Nice job John.
