| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
"Li Torê" or "the Bull". Most of the pictures you'll found of this 1881 Léon Mignon sculpture will be taken facing the bull or on the other side, from the parc. I took t from the street side because most of the time it's from there that people see it. Back in 1881 the nudity of the man was considered as choking. So everyone ib Liege was speaking about it in the local language: "As'véyou l'Torê ?" in walloon ("Did you saw the bull?"). That sentence is nowadays a way to rally people from Liège.
Post treatment: level, contrast and unsharp mask on the sculpture. Gaussian blur and contrast on the background |

(a asprouvé pou 'l protché cou) ;o)

A very beautiful statue you captured, JeanLoup. I think the Gaussian blur might have been done with a higher value. Or, another option: combine a picture of the sky with the isolated statue and pedestal... Goodbye building!
Thanks for sharing (TFS), you did an excellent job on the statue.
