So.. once more a shot of nice Belgium ..
the City of Brugge this time .

If you are able to visit Europe this is one of the places I can recommend! '' Brugge'' (See also some previous photo's in here of Belgium )

About this one ..The housse in the back with the blue sunshade/awning is dated back to 1720 AC
and there is another photo of this scene where I exactly stand on the same position, but you can see the right part of the house on right;
Thanks for popping in Folks;
John T
PS
I just got online after 5 days.. I have been a little to drastic with cleaning all sorts off stuff on my computer and also the ''registry'' . Result : It would not start . But it is fixed now.. ^__^

Hi John,
I'm glad you are back, I think you should let Yolanda clean the PC next time and clean the house instead :)) loll
I like this photo with the diagonal of the houses forming a V with the pathway arounf the canal. Very well done.
Kind Regards
Luc

Hi John,

And I thought you were on a holiday trip and would return with new photos... :))
Lovely photo, my friend!
Belgium seems so beautiful! Here you've captured it so well, full of warm colours and sharp details. Pitty you didn't have good weather (=blue sky). Great composition!
Well done!
Constantinos

Lovely shot, great color, I love the tree on the right. Perfection as always.

Cheers my friend.
Dawn.

Hallo John.

Groet Frans

Hi John,
I know this place, you give me nice memories with your pretty shot.
We made a wonderful drive with the horse-carriage, so romantic ;-)
And than we bought so yummy chocolate-pralines.
A wonderful day, thanks for your shot

You captured the beautiful town of Brugge under a very soft sky. The composition gives it much expanse with the perspective and the colors very right! Bravo John! Annie

I thought I had a deja vu moment for a second but then realized that you had posted something similar before ... :) The colors of the tree are a bit faded but it is a pleasant scenery overall.

Good job, uncle John, and welcome back to online world. :)

Salutations.
Pierre

Nice photo and a good composition. The clouds are slightly burned, curves command in PP is a quick fix or try a polarizing filter if the light 90deg. Would look awesome.

Welcome back Oom John. Lovely photo of some grand architecture with good natural colours. I for one am glad you did nothing with the sky. PP adjusted skies in most cases look abnormal.
Dawn has been exceptionally quiet, for a Kiwi that is, whereas Fran has been very noisy :). Now that you have returned I can relax somewhat. TFS John

Hi John,

Glad your back after poking around in your systems registry (A dangerous place that :) Ya can't just go around deleting stuff because it looks like ya don't need it :) :)

Anyhow back to the picture.. Looks like a nice place John, I am always amazed by the architecture in other countries and it's history, I wouldn't mind a day or two there for a few photo's and a little history tour. Great shot my friend.

O John :)

Nice details in the sky John. It is sharp and well saturated with a nice soft range of tones. B

Hi John.
Love the way the path and the bridge lead the eye into the scene.Full of warm colours.
An excellent composition.
TFS.
Best wishes from Australia.
Robert

Gree tree if we could say. He have a good irriigation. I find that scene wonderfull! What i nice construction too and show on an excellent angle!

Wow, someone needs to get busy and trim that tree. It's gotten a little out of hand...kind of like the privet shrubs in my yard. I think I would like Belgium. Very nice pictures you've shown us.

This one is velly nice too.

This is beautiful John. Makes you feel good and bright instantly. You have captured the perspective well with those converging lines. Sky - yes... wee bright but then I suppse you have to let go something to gain somewhere else.

PS The PC problem seems to be pandemic - mine is also playing truant with blankouts and arbitrary rebooting. Got to do something about it. :-)

Hi Bro, wow! Superb! With the willow tree covering the beautiful brick walls and the canal and its bridge! And you have brilliantly photographed it :)

Cheers, sis!

Mooi plaatje.

TFS,
Pedro
