Some things are not meant to last forever.

PP: crop, straightened horizon, desaturated, levels, contrast and brightness, resized and sharpened, framed.

I have a bit of noise in the sky but decided to keep it as is.

Have a nice evening,

Marleen

Great work Marleen.
Have a nice evening too.

do you know something build to last forever?
I like how the waves seem to run near and near as they go away.... as they substain each others...

Marleen I love the way you composed this, it is dynamic and you are right, change is going to happen! B

Hi Marleen,
Very nice compo and nicely framed, I love the subject and it's a bit grainy I like that too.
Good job, this well seen.

Steph.

the grain in b&w never bothers me, it makes it nice and gritty.
You waited for the right moment, patience is a good virtue to have as a photographer, good work, Marleen, thanx, M, (*_*)

I love photos with so much meaning behind them. So much to tell with just one look. Perfect freeze of the moment. B & W is simply beautiful.

A nice photo of a pretty rough sea.

Well Buddhism says, "Nothing is permanent in this world". No I am not a Buddhist.

Very nice composition and crop. I like it in black and white. I can feel the energy of the waves on the sea.

BONJOUR MARLEEN.
C'est une photo superbe. Et un très beau noir et blanc. Le point de vue est bien choisi, les chateaux de sable captent notre regard, puis on se laisse porter par les vagues si joliement définies! Ton message est fort!
Félicitations.
Luci

Hi Marleen,
An interesting composition: the two sand castles in the foreground balanced by the tiny sailboat in the distant. The exposure and tones are very well controlled too. The waves suggest the power of nature and add life to the otherwise lifeless beach.

I like the mood ofo this picture Marleen. The lonliness and the castles being washed away by the incoming waves. The greyness suits the mood very well I think.
Great composition.
Cheers Joan

Excellent b\w a sea landscape. The sight of the spectator wants to examine all picture entirely and having examined stops on a sail. Classics of a genre. Bravo!

Love this b/w shot. Very romantic. Nice compo. The sailer in the far backgnd contributes efficiently to the dimension of the scene.
Henri
