I like it Leon, good compo, lines head for horizon and colors with sun reflection beautify this picture of Albertchanel. Well done

As Frederic has said the lines really draw the eye to the horizon. I really did think that 'Captain Leon' was steering the ship - great view point.

I miss visiting Belgium & Holland and seeing the canals and rivers - they are such an integral part of life and commerce in your countries.

Excellent, Leon, c'est une très bonne composition, vivantte et colorée. Le cadrage et parfait.
Une scène interessante.

What would it be like Leon, to be out on a journey for weeks in a row, aboard a ship roaming the oceans...? Free, adventurous?
Well I guess there would be little time for such thoughts I guess, more something like hard labor each day...
Here you seem to be the first mate of an oil tanker, heading out to sea, towards the sunset. The PP work has done good to your picture, it is outstanding, as usual :) TFS

Leon well done on this shot. Does seem like you're riding on the ship. Busy canal.

Mike

Hello Leon,
The reflection of the sun in the water is very nice.
The sharpness at the boat level is really impressive.
Very nice one
Bravo!

Illusion is perfect, during a small fragment of time, I felt myself as the Captain! You perfectly controlled exposure and DoF, a very, very nice picture that carries the feeling of a *quiet power*

This is good because it shows so much detail from those fantastic barges. The sun is also very well caught in spite of the strong backlight.

You've presented us with another great Limburgian sunset, Leon. I like that a lot, and also the colour shift it supplies in the water. Well seen, again, well captured. TFS.

mission accomplished, skipper ;-)

The way you framed this really leads the eye into infiniti. Very nicely done Leon.

Great control in this picture captain. Nice shot!

Cette photo est très bien réussie Leon. Les reflets dorés du coucher de soleil dans l'eau ajoute à la superbe composition et ils donnent un ton sépia à tout le reste de l'image. Capture très bien calculée...
