Those single strands of hair flying about give this lovely little lady a strong sense of character. Her demeanor is very intense. I think you are right... she does not seem to have the look of someone who has a camera pointed at them.

Erg mooie portret foto Magda, vooral de keuze van z/w vind ik verrassend voor jou aangezien jij toch iemand bent van kleuren. Net zoals je omschrijft vind ik haar serieuze uitdrukking erg mooi.

Het oproepen van het beeld van een levend mens bestaat overigens niet uit een met technisch vernuft uitgevoerde klinische registratie van een uiterlijk. Bij het fotografen naar levend model vindt interactie plaats. Er is direct contact. Het verhaal van een portret gaat altijd over twee personen. Het is geen neutrale weergave. In het portret verenigen zich de geportretteerde en de portrettist. De afbeelding toont de eerste, de manier van afbeelden de tweede. We kunnen er in wisselwerking de betrokkenheid van de ene mens met de andere in aflezen als het goed is.

You captured her gesture really well, very good portrait and I like the use of sepia tone.
