Chantecler - Hymne au Soleil

CHANTECLER
O thou that driest the tears of the meanest among weeds
And dost of a dead flower make a living butterfly--
Thy miracle, wherever almond-trees
Shower down the wind their scented shreds,
Dead petals dancing in a living swarm--
I worship thee, O Sun! whose ample light,
Blessing every forehead, ripening every fruit,
Entering every flower and every hovel,
Pours itself forth and yet is never less,
Still spending and unspent--like mother's love!
I sing of thee, and will be thy high priest,
Who disdainest not to glass thy shining face
In the humble basin of blue suds,
Or see the lightning of thy last farewell
Reflected in an humble cottage pane!

Allo Henry,
Belle capture de ce coq en action. J'aime bien la vitesse utilisée qui rend son aile floue mais le reste au focus. La prise de vue et la composition sont excellentes. Vous étiez assez près j'imagine pour avoir capté cette proximité avec cette lentille. Merci,
Claudine

Très beau! la lumière nous fait
savoir que c'est le matin. Il tourne
autour de sa poule!
Finally a new photo! Lovely bit you put in your note, althought I have to wonder just how this reflects the image? Is the chicken hailing to the sun? Doesn't really matter, it's about personal interpretation right?
What I like about this is the nice variation in focus across the grass. Another interesting bit about your photo is how the body of the chicken is focused, but his wing has a motion blur, interesting. :) I also like the use of space, and the square composition.
Biance.
