The crowd coming to see the famous Manneken Pis
in Brussels is so big that even the red-cross
is present in case something happens.

*********************
Manneken Pis ("little man piss" in English), is a
Brussels landmark. It is a small bronze fountain
sculpture depicting a naked little boy urinating into
the fountain's basin. Similar statues can be found in
the Belgian towns of Geraardsbergen and Hasselt and in
the Northern-french village of Broksele. There is an
ongoing dispute over which Manneken Pis is the oldest -
the one in Brussels or the one in Geraardsbergen.
There are several legends behind this statue, which can
be found on the wikipedia site.

Hi Thorsten!

I'm Belgian (though now living in Poland)...and I never really understood why this little pissing man attracted so many tourists! ;-)
Nice point of view - I'm surprised to see that the Red Cross is present!

Tschüss,

Natalia

***Grins***;-)
Zuerst hab' ich mich gewundert, weshalb Du nicht näher ran bist, aber klar ;-) Haha!
Für die, die sich zu arg "eschofieren" und anschließend vor Empörung aus den Latschen kippen. Genialer Moment, Danke

Simple but an attractive view from the back of the people. Fast colors are eye catching. An innovative idea has been presented. Well done my friend.

Thanks for sharing this picture.

The Red Cross? What do they expect to happen? Much ado about a little boy with loss of bladder control!
This is a great human interest shot, wonderful compo with the color splashes and a sneaky pov.
Cheers
Otto

Hi Thor,
And I never understood why this little pissing man attracted so many tourists. But shot is nice with interesting point of view and Red Cross in the center.
Do you have shots with pissing girl? I didn't find it in my visit.

Regards,
Alex
