My eldest son was competing in a
( self build )go-cart race.
The track was slippery due to the rain.
My father-heart was a bit afraid :
you see it all the time : they smack against the border, wheels breaking off, fire everywhere ...
But then, standing on the finish line, I saw this man.
What a relief ! ...

Tech :
Bit more contrast and brightness

PS : He was first ! :-)

Hi Jan,
first of all congrats for your eldest son! (what's his name?) Second of all, I must say nice shot! Really nice! We usually take pictures from the front trying to capture the face of humans but you demonstrate very well in here that our behind is interesting too :) Seriously, nice work!

Have a lovely day.
Ioana

Hi Jan,
How on earth do they come up with a name like this -- okay, for you it must have been a relief.
I did spend years working for the Red Cross and attending events with youth and they can really hurt themselved when they are over-enthousiast - would have loved this jacket, but had to wear a uniform with skirt, no trousers allowed then.

You must have been proud after all that worrying that he came in first!

My heart would be a little afraid too and the "body repair" sign on his back does not reassure, even though I know it refers to cars, not people!
Great image

Hi Jan

Congratulations for showing our children's safety, as they said above, the times we try to photograph the face or in the same ones and we forgot from our protectors to the side.
it is good to know that always have a Body Repair for close.
Congratulations for his eldest son.

Sérgio

Grappig plaatje en goed opgemerkt. Beeld kwaliteit is prima. Ligt het nou aan mij of lijkt het beeld een tikje gekanteld?

Gr,
Pedro

je maakt weinig foto's tegenwoordig jan..
