[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
...selecting a photo to post for the SH's My Digital Darkroom theme.

I had just cleaned the workspace, finally archived my bills, letters and manuals, removed devices that aren't used frequently... and decided to take a photo of it, to prove that I can tidy up this place ;o).

My 'digital darkroom' is located in a corner of our living-room.

Tech talk

Used the lights from the living-room. Selected the camera's night shot programme. Prevented flash from firing.

Croppity-crop.

Sharpened once.
Removed noise: luminant: 60, chromatic: 30.

Dowsized for TL in four steps.

Added Frank's framing.

Nice to see Frank's corner! Very clean and nice printer. Good angle on the composition. I like the textures on your walls.
The only thing I see to pick at is that it looks like your smelling the plug in the outlet on the wall. Looks like this was hard to prevent based on the background beside you on the photo on the screen.
Anyway, great job and TFS Frank.......Its really neat to see where people are doing there work and critiquing from.
I won't be able to do my home digital room until we move....soon though.

Michael

Nice to see you, we see you nice:-))
And here's your studio where the pictures will prepared to send them into the world, nice to see a flatscreen again and do I notice an empty candy-box maybe ? Good shot and I like the way we see you in your screen....in your screen....in your screen....in your....

Very nice "personal" photo Frank! It's good to see you at your computerized environment! ;)

You look very serious, very busy! I like it. Nice picture and I like the mirror effect in your screen. By the way I like your screen.
Best regards
Guy

Ah, what a neat corner. Now Frank, each week you should look at this picture and then look at your desk, and see if it looks like the photo. Should be a good incentive to keep it tidy. I should talk I tried this myself, several years ago, but in spite of admiring my clean desk, I'm afraid it didn't stay that way long.
Anyway, your photo came out well, by the room lighting. It gives nice overall soft tones and a cosy looking atmosphere.

NICE nice IDEA idea HERE here..

It give some realistic of the quotidien!
Except it's not in my habbit to saw myself in my monitor :o)
Greetings!

Very nice and clean Frank. For some reason ones computer desk can seem to get very cluttered and forgotten. I have a hard time keeping mine clean and clear too.

Amusant et bien trouvée l'idée de cette photo....2 pour un....

Waht a neat little corner! No wonder I had to make a really dark photo, so that no one could see how disorganized I am :-)
I like the fact that you've put the photo on the screen too, it gives a cool 2 in 1 effect :-)
Well done Frank.
Ana

I was very impressed with the tidy office, then read that you'd just tidied it up Frank. Now try and keep it like that!
Well done.

Oh! This is neat. A picture of you and another one on the computer screen. Clever idea. Nice to see you in the corner of your office. Would go well too in that theme. You have nice walls. Love your thin terminal. Now I will be able to see you in my mind when you are making all those great 'frank's frames'...and wearing your/my favourite denim shirt, I see. Excellent original idea. Well done Frank. Wonder why Dingo wasn't sitting by your chair. Maybe next time.

Clean in all the meanings of it.
Cannot see the place for the dog, but its surely a nice place to work.
Well done
Jean Michel

Very good contribution to the theme Frank ..The fact you're on your screen adds to the composition here, maybe if there was a frontal view of you on the screen , would have been a good effect to ..very good lighting and very tidy shot :-))

Now that's a "neat" image!
This is indeed what would happen when I suggested this item for the SH. A very nice and tidy "digital darkroom", no junk, maximum room for creativity. Your screen is where it all comes together, a new creation is born. And this time, with maximum creativity.

Good reminder for everyone, I see you CD-BOX is empty, I guess you also made an archive backup of all your images with great value. Something we all should do from time to time...

Good job Frank, TFS, I now know where we meet.
Till next time, Richard

Must we conclude from the fact that you even took a picture of the cleaning result, that you do not do that too often? Most people only take photos of "Real Occurances" in their lifes... ;) Just kidding you Frank! I know the feeling, you should see my attic, where I have my mini network... sometimes a mess seldom found elsewhere!!

I like the way you did this one, almost as if you view yourself on the screen with a web cam!

Bonsoir Frank,
Il fallait y penser, une composition réussie et dont l'originalité est à mettre à l'honneur.
Very well done.
Philippe

Hi Frank,

Super, bravo...

Well done Frank...and Frank...and Frank and so on and so on and so on.....no really great idea, and well composed.
Thanks for sharing,
Liz

From the thumbnail I thought yuo were playing a keyboard, and in fact it does look like a computer freak (and TL artist) is some kind of musician. Maybe we could start a thing there: TL memebers with their "instruments". Nice PP work, only a pity the image is only repeated once - an ininite corridor image would have been cool.

How clever...I like your POV would have liked to see more of the man though (smile)
(It seems to me you became very 'critical' in my absence,....wanna talk? ) ....just ass-ing (grin)
