Good point of view and the canal gives a fine lead-in to the scenery!
It is interesting to see how the ancient tower in the back is the only structure that is properly hit by the sunlight...

Hi Sorina. I have visited Bruges and I share your love of the old Belgian architecture. This looks so familiar. This is well composed, I think many would have crossed the bridge and taken the shot straight along the canal but this arrangement is much more interesting showing the curve and more of the frontage of the buildings. Good work.

Gent is a town a passed so many times on my way south ..to family in the Provence..to be honest your photo made me change my mind!!
Next time I am there I will see the town.
Your 'water' lead in here is very strong/nice and sharp as always from you.

I visited Ghent back in 1978 !!!!! If you click on Ghent ( the city link above ) you will see my souvenir (*_^)posted earlier on TL.

Amazing place. Too bad , I did not have much time to visit the City when I was there , I visited a friend South of Brussels.

I like the curved canal giving us a great perspective and leading line inviting us to explore the whole photo. Well done.
