Yep, not bad.
I would have cloned two white specs, one near the breast in the water and the other in the foreground (second reflection on the right) That's if I was as nit picky as you, I'm surprised with you Ole' Frankenoby. :=)

Nothing special? Nothing special? Ten eerste is eendeborst in pepersaus bijzónder lekker. En ten tweede ben je er toch maar in geslaagd dit eendje zodanig in beeld te brengen dat je het bijna zou willen strelen. Ongelofelijk hoe tastbaar het eruit ziet! Dat geldt trouwens ook voor het water met die mooie rimpelingen: je zou er je hand in willen steken (als het zomer was, zou ik zeggen: om wat af te koelen).
Kortom: een levensechte foto. En zo mogen er meer zijn...

Give a Duck another name and he/she still quekkss as loud

Tja Daffy of Donald...wat maakt het uit? Het water is prachtig in deze foto, het lijk bijna olie, of "dik" water :-) Meneer eend staat er ook op z'n voordeligst op, mooi scherp, maar zijn koppie is een tikkie te donker, het oog valt een beetje weg. De weerspieleling daarentegen is weer erg mooi. Kortom, meer dan de moeite waard!

Hallo Frank,

Echt een foto die je wat nauwleuriger moet bekijken. Dan zie je de mooie lichtblauwe tinten van het water en de fijne reflectie, naast deze prachtige eend.

I can see what you mean Frank, I like it as well. Good composition, would not immediately have picked up on the two reflections, love the way you captured the water and the ripples! What an obedient dog you have - or doesn't he like to jump in and get wet - well he probably knows that the water in February is not that nice.

I like your INTRO and agree with some of your remarks. After a while, I also agree with some advice that we begin to develop our own style, yet never stops learning.

This duck is sharp and colorful and the silvery water ripple is useful to give motion and reflection. Good pov and composition in this presentation.
