Wow! What a lovely scene, Achim! I like it a lot! It's like a path going to heaven! :) Very nice timing of the day. I like the fog and mist in the background. It gives depth and adds to the vanishing perspective of the road. The entourage completes the picture and scale. Congratulations!

Dreaming atmosphere. Trees shadow seems to design a fence on the street.
Point of perspective is able to capture the sight of the observer driving it towards an enchanted place.

The repetitions are lovely indeed, Achim. A vast line of trees on either side of the road, letting in enough light to see what's going on. The slight backlight somehow caused a bit of an overexposure on the centre part of the shot though - which is weird, as backlight usually generates underexposure. So I'm wondering if you overcorrected here?

This is an exceptionally good picture.
The rythm of the trees is amplified by the shadows.
Contrast decreases towards the horizon.

The depth of field is impeccable.
The POV is superb.

you have so many good pictures in your gallery that its hard to know where to start and I have enjoyed browsing. But this is a complete knoeck out and so I shall start here although I am sure there is nothing that I can say that hasn't been said.First of all I like the compo with the cyclist perfectly placed in the frame.The balance of the trees on each side is just right with the trees on he right leading us with a strong diagonal.I also like where the trees seem to meet and we can see the ghostly lines of their upper branches in the mist.And of course the light and the repition.

Missed this superb shot previously , Thanks to your intro page. I will not repeat , what I have been repeat before.

But about the lovely composition, I find it looks remarkably like we are standing in the main alley of an old cathedral with massive columns. The shadows being the benches, and the branches at the top , the arches.

Spectacular POV, and mood. Well done!

very impressive picture.nice atmosphere.strong perspective line created by repetition of trees and line of grass .lovely color scheme as well especially the green grass,it made this shot outstanding as well as soft light give a soft look and foggy at the end of perspective and pattern of lines on the road leading to the man on bicycle and the other one that good relate from elements.in this picture i like texture of trees and their branches in foggy as well as green grass.i think they made this shot more charming :)

It isn't surprising that this is the best rated photo of your gallery.
Excellent composition: very structured, but not too straight. The trees on the foreground on the left side offer an excellent lead-in to the rest of your photo. The cyclist leads our eyes even further, to the hazy background. You achieved a stunning depth of field.
In spite of the difficult light conditions (harsh sunlight), you managed to keep the colours (and even the white tones) sufficiently nuanced...
