Last saturday was the second edition of "Naked", a alternative fashionshow where the clothes on display would be sold after being showed on the 200 metres long catwalk by amateur models. The profits will be donated to a charity organisation in the same street that cares about the homeless.
The models had their share of attention, but I always look around for the odd thing. An elderly couple sat down, a bit exhausted from the noise and crowd, and the woman was studying one of the many folders that were handed out. She too seemed interested in a modelling career ;-)
The original picture featured her husband as well, but the detail of the folder would be lost at this size, so I decided to crop to the "essential".
Cranked up levels in PS.
As the lighting was very different in the harsh direct sunlight and the darker shadows in the street, I had set my ISO to 800 to allow capturing the walking models, hence the high shutterspeed. |
